John D Moore, AMU Faculty Member
Moore comes to American Military University (AMU) from the health sciences sector, specializing in wellness consulting for individuals and organizations. Dr. Moore holds a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology from Northcentral University. He also holds a certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University.
He is a native of Chicago, and lives on the city’s North Side.
James Herhusky, APUS Member, Board of TrusteesHerhusky has been part of APUS for over 13 years in key leadership positions including its Chief Operating Officer and culminating as the Executive Vice President for Institutional Advancement. He transitioned over th the board in May 2008.
Prior to joining the institution in 1995 , Jim served in the US Army as a personnel officer. He earned a second master’s degree with honors at Fort Hays State University in Kansas while serving as Professor of Military Science and head of the Army Senior ROTC program. Jim directed APUS’s accreditation efforts with both the NCA’s Higher Learning Commission and Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). Jim has served several years on DETC’s Business Standards Committee and received DETC’s 2007 Distinguished Service Award.
