Inspiration comes in all forms, some not as obvious as others, but it’s there nonetheless. Staying motivated for class is just one of those things you need to push yourself into at times, and if pushing doesn’t work give yourself a good shove.
You don’t want to wait until last minute to get things going, instead try tricking yourself into being motivated. Start off light with putting a few things away. Organizing your syllabus, notes, and maybe checking out the latest discussion board posts. Outlining the work that needs to get done helps you visualize the task at hand also. You don’t know how it’ll get done until you know what needs to get done!

We all know how tiring, draining and exhausting writing can be. Sometimes it’s just tough to crank out a research or term paper.
Even though it takes additional time and effort, proof-reading is imperative to submitting the best possible paper you can! Be sure to re-read it once or twice, and share with a classmate, friend or family member to get an additional set of eyes and an additional opinion.
Sometimes catching a few typos here and there can make an enormous difference!

Sometimes studying at home, where you eat (kitchen table), sleep (in bed), or hang out (family room couch); can wind up being pretty distracting… even if you’re by yourself with the TV and radio off, etc. The solution? Designate an area in your house or even elsewhere (coffee shop, library, workshare area) to get your school work done. You’ll find that having a place that’s strictly for your studies will help you focus immensely!
