This week, we have chosen a great site that allows you to highlight text on any webpage on the internet, and it automatically stores it for you to view later. It’s like bookmarking a page, only more intuitive. iCyte is free to download and easy to use. Once you download it to your computer it places an icon in your browser toolbar. From there you use it whenever you want to mark up a webpage, article, blog post and have it automatically saved.
You can make notes, groups, tags, and you can share the information you found through social media channels and e-mail. This saves you time and effort when you want to reference the information on any page for classwork. When you want to use it you simply go to the site, login and choose which page with notes you were looking to use.
Just one more thing to make your online experience a little easier to maintain.
