In this day and age there are a lot of companies offering freebies. However, I have found that most are just plain junk – or worse yet, they have a catch to them so they aren’t exactly free. Now, I was already aware of iTunesU (http://www.apple.com/education/itunes-u) since my University (http://www.apus.edu/) maintains it’s own channel featuring how-to math and chemistry videos (http://amuonline.com/itunes). So, it was nice to see other organizations jump into the channel and start offering content at no cost. For instance, The Open University is now offering some cool ebooks at no cost as well. These freebies definitely are worth checking out!
