For example, you want to spend your weekend at the pool relaxing away from the computer so you’ll finish your work now. Or, you want to be the first to finish your discussion board post; pretend there’s an incentive like bonus points for finishing early. If it comes down the the wire and you’re all out of excuses, tell yourself that if you don’t get it done something ridiculous might happen…like your computer shoots fire for every 5 minutes you’re late handing it in.
