My Favorite Tools for School Are…

My Favorite Tools for School AreWe all have our favorite bookmarked websites and tools for class, some are better than others. The great thing about educational tools/apps is that they can double for work and life. Below is a list of some of my favorite tools and sites that I use regularly.

  • Instapaper: It reserves an article I was reading, and didn’t get to finish.
  • iCyte: This is a GREAT research tool. Whether you’re looking for something specific for school, or you need to know more about the latest development on zoning. You can take notes, organize your thoughts and more.
  • gDoc Fusion: This tool is great for those documents you get that you can’t open from an email. You can also merge documents, and share information faster.
  • Wordweb: For that word you just can’t think of a synonym for, or a definition of something on an article, this tool bails you out and tells you what you want to know. After downloading you simply press and hold down Ctrl+Alt+W and a window pops up with suggestions.
  • Toodledo: We all could use a little more organization in our lives, and thats what this provides. It’s an online to do list that helps you track the things you need to get done.

There are a lot more to choose from on our tools and links page. What are your favorite tools for school that keep you in-line and at the head of your class?
