Life as an online learner can be solitary at times. You don’t have the peers as a physical presence around you all the time, so finding a motivating factor can be difficult. Encouragement from family and friends is great, but they won’t always be there to tell you to keep your chin up. One other way to keep yourself motivated and peppy for classes online is by creating a playlist.
If you workout at a gym, or go jogging, you may already have an MP3 player with several playlists intended for different types of workouts. If you’re a music lover, consider you’re more upbeat or uplifting songs to include on this list. Or you can do as I do, and put a mix of jarring songs with more thoughtful songs sprinkled in. You can always turn off the music if you find your groove and work better without it.
