Susan Hoffman Susan Hoffman, Managing Editor and Quality Assurance Editor
Susan Hoffman is a business and higher education writer and editor. Her articles have appeared on multiple publications, including Online Learning Tips, Online Career Tips, In Homeland Security, InCyberDefense, and In Military. Susan is known for her expertise in blogging, social media, and content analytics, and she has taught community workshops in Northern Virginia. Susan is also a book reviewer for Military History magazine. She has a B.A. cum laude in English from James Madison University and an undergraduate certificate in electronic commerce from American Public University.
J. Thompson, Contributor
Communications professional J. Thompson is an avid contributor supporting lifelong education. After undergraduate stints at the University of New Mexico and East Carolina, Thompson worked as a contract technical writer with IBM and the U.S. Department of Energy. Hubler brings a deep background of government, journalism and teaching experience, which includes an impeccable career serving as a senior editor at the Central Intelligence Agency at posts in the U.S. and around the globe. David is an accomplished researcher and published author. In March 2017, Rowman & Littlefield published the paperback edition of David’s latest book, “The Nats and the Grays, How Baseball in the Nation’s Capital Survived WWII and Changed the Game Forever.”

Madeline is a Social Communities Manager at American Public University System, where she engages with students on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media channels. She has more than six years of marketing and customer service experience and has worked for one of the nation’s leading non-profit healthcare organizations and leading BI software providers. Madeline graduated magna cum laude from Shippensburg University with a B.A. in Communications/Journalism and concentration in Broadcast Journalism. She recently graduated with her MBA in Marketing from American Military University.

She has more than three years of social media and marketing experience and enjoys working in the ever-changing field of social media. Megan graduated cum laude from West Virginia University with a B.S. in broadcast news and a minor in communications.
